Meet Hope. Our kind volunteer Vicki found her on the side of the road.

Vicki spotted a kangaroo lying who had been hit by a car. When she looked closer, she noticed that just outside Mum’s pouch was a tiny joey. She was making soft clucking sounds, calling out to her mother.

She must have been so scared and confused. Why wasn’t her mum responding to her calls?

Thankfully, Vets for Compassion was there. Vicki scooped the little joey up, and she was named Hope. She was taken safely into care and is doing well.
