At Vets For Compassion, every day is dedicated to protecting our precious wildlife – especially our beloved kangaroos. In the past 12 months alone, we’ve rescued more than 1,800 kangaroos!

From darting and relocating, to caring for joeys, and sadly euthanising those suffering beyond help, we’re always ready to act.

Did you know VFC is the only organisation that has a large number of volunteer vet darters and non-vet darters with vet support. They are all on call seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and trained to dart large wildlife and other large animals in distress and emergency situations. This makes us critical to their survival in life-threatening situations.

But our iconic kangaroos are facing new threats. With urban development spreading, more kangaroos are being displaced, injured, or killed by cars and fences. They need us now more than ever.

On World Kangaroo Day, we’re asking for your support. Every dollar helps us save more lives.

Together, we can keep rescuing and caring for these incredible animals.
