We’re thrilled to share our support for Himalayan Animal Rescue Trust (HART) as they continue to make a significant impact on animal welfare across Nepal!
Recently, HART held an enlightening awareness session at Pestalozzi Children’s Education Centre in Pokhara, educating 26 eager young minds about the essentials of pet care and safety.
The topics covered included:
- Preventing rabies and understanding its transmission
- Recognising dog body language to avoid bites
- The essential needs of dogs and other pets.
Adding a touch of charm to the session, Setey, a local free-roaming dog, joined in but snoozed off – probably because he’s an expert already!
At the session’s close, each child received a copy of “Sathi The Street Dog,” igniting excitement and anticipation for our next visit.
