Oscar Zeller

Rescuer

Oscar is a French rescuer passionate about wildlife rehabilitation. He has completed a bachelor of Science in Zoology and is currently studying to become a veterinary assistant and animal carer.

He has previously done research on interpreting and managing orangutan social behaviour in captivity, and works at a private zoo taking care of all sorts of native australian wildlife.

He volunteers at a number of shelters around Melbourne and does rescues in his free time. His motivation to save wildlife comes from his childhood spent in Asia, where it was clear to see that humans prioritised economic development at the cost of destroying local biodiversity. Wildlife and its habitat cannot speak, so we must and we will.
