Jason Atley

Rescuer

Jason is a dedicated wildlife rescuer with a passion for protecting Australia’s native animals, particularly macropods. A proud father of two daughters, he shares his home with them and is driven by the desire to create a better world for future generations, ensuring that wildlife remains abundant and healthy.

Before dedicating himself to animal rescue, Jason served in the Australian Army until a medical discharge led him to new opportunities. He played a key role in establishing a veteran charity focused on supporting tertiary education for those transitioning out of military service.

Beyond his work with wildlife and veterans, Jason is a passionate sports enthusiast, with a special love for Formula 1. He is supported in his work by his beautiful partner, Danah, and at home, he shares his life with his daughters and his dog, Miley.
