Vets for Compassion work with a number of amazing organisations to provide critical care to injured wildlife and animals. We often rely on the generosity of our partners, sponsors, as well as the general public to donate specific items of need.

Or credit with a wildlife food supplier.
Self heating pads, blankets and mats
Helps assist with transport of stray homeless animals.
Goods or services
To be used for fundraising, such as vouchers, movie tickets, event tickets, hotel or resort stays, spa treatments, passes to attractions.
Medical Supplies
Including saline, disposable gloves, hand sanitser, hartmann’s solution, syringes (assorted sizes), instant heat and cold packs, antiseptic wipes and sprays and medical tape. Please see our Facebook page for needed items.
Trailers & Transport cages
Helps assist with transport of stray homeless animals.
Shipping container
Ideally insulated, lined, and ready for use, but we’ll also consider containers in good condition that we can easily convert.
Animal Cages
Large cages, top-opening pet carriers/rescue baskets, flexariums and pet enclosures.
Prefabricated indoor dog runs
Helps assist with our 6-70 stray homeless animals every week.
Dental, Ultrasound and X-Ray machines
Including both Dental X-Ray and Ultrasound machines. Ideally an ultrasound machine capably with echo imaging.
Essential Items
These items are essential to the our volunteers and on our wildlife rescues. If you are donating items, please ensure all used items must be clean and of good quality for our volunteers to use for wildlife in care.
Bath and beach towels
Please only donate unused towels, as loose threads or linty towels and linens can be a safety hazard for wildlife in care.
Medical Supplies
Bandages (assorted), dressings (assorted), swaps, guaze, burettes and pipettes. Please see our Facebook page for needed items.
Blankets
Flat sheets (Cotton, flannalette, linen or bamboo).
Fuel vouchers
To assist our Wildlife heroes who attend rescues each and every day.
Pet Items
Puppy play pens or pee pads, cordless clippers, and ceramic or metal food bowls
Handmade Items
Including joey pouches and liners, bird nests, koala mittens made with 100% wool or cotton.
Fruit and Vegetable Vouchers
Vouchers from Coles or Woolworths to assist with wildlife rescuers.
Cat/Possum traps
Heavy duty feral cat and possum traps to assist with wildlife rescuers.
Softbox Carriers
To assist with wildlife and shelters.

Please contact us if you have any of these items to donate and we can advise how to donate, or if these can be picked up by one of our volunteers.
What items can’t be donated?
We do not accept clothing, including fur items, mattresses, pillows, cushions, fitted sheets, dunas and covers, baby formula, teets and bottles, scrap metal, pet food, bird seeds, pet toys, medication.
