“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”

– Mahatma Gandhi

We don’t worry about the moral high ground – we just take immediate action to help animals in distress and show others through action that we should treat animals the way we want to be treated.

The Vets for Compassion team is a skilled team of vet darters and vet nurses that are often called upon (at all hours of the day!) to tranquilise, assess and treat native animals who may be injured or displaced. As our urban sprawl continues, inevitably more interactions and accidents with wildlife will occur.

We have rescued kangaroos, wombats and wallabies who have been hit by vehicles, or are loose on roads, attacked by dogs, trapped in shopping centres, buildings and backyards. Many animals victims of cruelty and orphaned animals have been cared for.
